Overview:
This workshop is organized by the Association for Laboratory Managers (ALMA), which aims to help laboratory managers improve their lab’s performance and customer satisfaction by promoting discussion of practices and programs relating to quality, cost control, and employee development.

Poor economic times affect everybody and laboratories are no exception. Often part of R&D, they are especially vulnerable to cost-cutting. In this workshop laboratory managers will present how they cope under these difficult circumstances. In accordance with ALMA’s goals, it is one way to provide a forum for managers to interact with managers who have similar problems and who are willing to share solutions and ideas that have worked in their laboratories.
