In modern times, people in pharmaceutical industry are well informed about how particle size affects product quality. Therefore, particle size has been monitored in the manufacturing process closely in order to control the end product quality.

Unlike particle size, particle shape analysis has not been implemented as a necessary routine test.

The question is whether particle shape is really not critical or is it critical, but manufacturers have not found a viable solution. Over the years, there have been mixed answers circling around. We would like to communicate with attendees on various challenging topics and bring an awareness to the correlations between particle size and shape. Hence to discuss what kind of solutions are needed in order to help industry overcome those challenges.
