Food industry globalization has seen increased issues concerning food authenticity and safety. Negative food events are reported often and have escalated concerns on consumer protection and risk mitigation. This session will focus on how new technologies can mitigate risks related to chemical contaminants or adulterants. Remaining gaps will also be defined.
