Course Description
This course provides an introduction to data processing, visualization, and analysis with comprehensive two-dimensional chromatography. The methods and tools covered in the course are applicable to GCxGC, LCxLC, and other 2D separations with various detectors, including FID, SCD, UV, MS, and high-resolution MS. The instruction will utilize GC Image software, for which students will be provided a temporary license. Students should bring a laptop computer.

Analytical chemists who are interested in data processing, visualization and analysis with GCxGC, LCxLC, or other 2D separations.

Course Instructor's Biography
Prof. Stephen E. Reichenbach is a Professor of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. He has been developing chemometrics and cheminformatics methods and tools for more than 15 years and his research has been published in Analytical Chemistry, Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems, Journal of Chromatography A, Journal of Chromatographic Science, Journal of Separation Science, Rapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry, Surface and Interface Analysis, Talanta, and many other journals.
