Course Description
Please bring laptop computer. I offer an interactive, up-to-date, hands-on training program that gives participants a primary and extensive preparation for giving oral technical presentations and writing and publishing scientific manuscripts. With exercises, I will provide a detailed account of how the publication process works with the following goals: 1. Increase chances of having your manuscript accepted 2. Train you to be able to address yourself these questions: What is the level of my work?. How much data I have that may be publishable?. Can I split my results in more than one paper?. At which moment do I decide to submit to a different journal?. What do I do if a reviewer requests more data or experiments?. What do I do if I disagree with the reviewers? 3. Inform you of the trends currently developing in the industry of scientific publishing that you will need to consider now and in the future as a researcher 4. Take into account publication ethics and research misconduct 5. I will review and criticize your current manuscript, if you have one in preparation 6. Train you in giving effective oral presentations

Target Audience

Course Instructor's Biography
Antonio Peramo, Ph.D. is the founder of iPublishPapers.com. He started this particular training service after observing, during his years of work in three different universities, that publication methods and techniques are normally acquired by proxy and not by a formal training in the classroom. He has published, mostly as main author, more than 30 manuscripts in scientific journals in varied fields: tissue engineering, skin cell culture, bioengineering and surface science. He has have given this training at American Chemical Society meetings; at the AAAS Annual meeting and to graduate students in China and university professors in Ecuador.
