Course Description
The proposed half-day course is designed for the scientist or engineer who is already familiar with the basics of GC-MS. The course is a practical guide to analytical pyrolysis for polymer and material characterization analysis. The topics include pyrolysis hardware, GC-MS platform options and software for qualitative and quantitative sample characterization by Pyrolysis-GC-MS. Topics include practical strategies for unknowns, failure analysis and quality assurance.

Target Audience
The ideal attendee is familiar with the basics of GC-MS. The ideal attendee has interest in the characterization of polymer and other materials using gas phase analytical techniques.
