|This course describes analytical capabilities of and instrumentation for ICP-MS. Basic principles by which atomization, ionization, ion extraction, mass analysis and detection occur are emphasized. All commercial instruments are represented. The Course Outline described below covers all the main variation of ICP-MS in common analytical use. A brief applications survey and description of sample prep methods is also presented.
|Beginning and intermediate users of ICP-MS instrumentation. Scientists contemplating use or acquisition of ICP-MS instrumentation. Students at any degree level between pre-Bachelors to PhD.
