Course Description
In half a day, you will learn how to transform a laboratory without a LIMS or ELN into a LIMS/ELN automated one. The course will cover what LIMS and ELN systems do at a high level and which of your existing systems can and should be eliminated with the implementation of a LIMS and/or ELN. In the first hands-on workshop, you will learn how to map your current laboratory processes into As-is workflow diagrams. In the second, you will transform your As-is workflows into To-be workflows, with representative To-be diagrams from the workshop reviewed in class.
